There’s something uniquely special about a commissioning a painting. It’s more than just a piece of art, it’s a collaboration, a conversation, and a chance to turn your story, your space, or your vision into something lasting. If you’ve ever thought about commissioning a painting but weren’t sure where to start, read on! I’d love to walk you through the process.
You Bring the Vision, I Bring the Brush
When you commission a piece, you’re not just buying artwork. Whether you want a painting that reflects a memory, captures a mood, or complements a specific room, we work together to bring your ideas to life. I listen closely to what you’re drawn to and build a piece that feels personal and meaningful.
The Process is Collaborative and Clear
The best commissions come from clear communication and creative trust. Here’s how it works:
We start with a conversation. You tell me what you’re envisioning, share reference photos or inspiration, and we explore what size, palette, and vibe you’re after.
I create a proposal. This includes a rough sketch or description, timeline, pricing, and any other details.
I begin painting and keep you updated with progress photos so you can see your piece come to life step by step.
You approve the final result and I deliver or ship your custom artwork with care.
Every Commission Has a Story
Each commission tells a unique story, and I feel honored every time someone trusts me to translate theirs into visual form. Whether you’re commissioning a painting for yourself or giving it as a gift, you’re creating something thoughtful, lasting, and truly one of a kind.
