The Painting Style
I created this piece using a painterly style. Brushstrokes are visible and expressive. The copper accents shift and change with the light in the room, so the painting looks subtly different at different times of day and in different lighting conditions. The resulting piece is full of emotion and fantasy.
The Nine Canvases
I used multiple canvases to create this piece in order to fully fill the space in an organic way. Some canvases are horizontal, while some are vertical. Some are large, others small. Hung together, the nine canvases create a composition that is dynamic and alive, full of movement and variety. The eye travels across the installation the way it might travel through the branches of a real tree, never in a straight line, always finding something new to rest on.
A Mobile Mural
This piece is what I like to call a mobile mural. For renters or people who move frequently, a mobile mural offers everything a wall mural does without any of the permanence. The canvases can be disassembled, transported, then reassembled with ease. The smaller size of the canvases also means that they are lighter weight and easier to hang than a large canvas that would fill the same space.
Commission Your Own Multi-Canvas Installation
Whether you are drawn to the fantastical and painterly, the bold and graphic, or something altogether more serene and naturalistic, a multi-canvas installation can bring large scale art into your home in a way that is as flexible as it is beautiful. I would love to create something extraordinary for your space. Get in touch to discuss your commission. Let’s create something together that you will want to take with you everywhere.
